Its gonna be my 3rd time, the only bad thing about the holiday is how depressing it is when you get home and there's no mountain or chairlift in sight! I'd defo advise you go to a gift shop/newsagents(there's a big one in the centre of Morzine) and buy a mtb guide book, that way you can get to some of the quieter tracks a bit further out, this is the start of one track I highly recommend going to:

http://www.pinkbike.com/photo/1416907/ the Swiss National DH Track at Les Crosets.
I'm sure your wilson would be fine as it is, I was thinking about changing my brakes from Gustav's but to be honest I dont think you can have to much braking power out there!

I'm actually off the bike for a while - recovering from a broken arm in Canada last summer - but usually ride as Swinley and Chicksands. Was down at PORC last weekend - my GF won the ladies DH (!) - but once I'm back on the big bike I'll be heading to Cwmcarn and Aston. Might try a long weekend in Morzine if I repair in time

Hey man, just wondering if you could help me out with a few questions. I am currently riding on a set of avid codes and i want to switch to something just as powerful but lighter in weight. I have been looking at the new avid elixir cr brakes. How are the brakes? Do they perform well? Are the good for free riding and downhill? And how are they in dry and wet weather conditions? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks

Hey man. Just wondering how your Elixir's are? (saw you had got some in your pictures) My rear code 5 is giving me real shit and lets be honest they're not the best brake to start off with so i'm stuck between a 2009 saint or elixir CR. Cheers
